Why Is My G3 Wired Gateway Not Connecting?

If your G3 Wired Gateway is not connecting, the issue is usually related to your network setup, not the device itself.
This guide will help you understand the most common causes and how to fix them.

Most Common Cause: Internet Connection Type (PPPoE)
Some internet connections require a username and password to connect. This is called PPPoE.

Important:
The G3 Gateway cannot enter a username or password
It relies on your router to already be connected to the internet What this means.
Your router must:
●Log in to the internet (using PPPoE if required)
●Then provide a normal network (DHCP) to other devices
If your router is not doing this:
●The gateway will not connect
●It will appear inactive with no error message

What You Should Do
If your internet uses PPPoE:
-Make sure your router is handling the login
-The router should already have internet access
-The router should provide a standard LAN connection
If needed, use a router that:
•Supports PPPoE login
•Shares internet via Ethernet (LAN ports)
•Check for Network Restrictions
•Some routers block new devices by default.
Check the following settings:
•Firewall
•Disable strict firewall settings temporarily
•Try connecting the gateway again
•MAC Address Filtering
•Make sure MAC filtering is off
•Or add the gateway as an allowed device

Basic Checks
These may seem simple, but they often solve the issue:
●Check the Ethernet cable is working
●Try a different LAN port on the router
●Test the same cable and port with a laptop
●Check the TTLock App Setup
●Open the TTLock app:
•Go to Gateway
•Tap "+"
•Select Wired Gateway
●If the gateway does not appear:
•Try resetting the gateway
•Then repeat the setup process

Final Test (Very Important)
To rule out hardware issues:
Try connecting the gateway on a different network
For example:
-Another home
-A mobile hotspot (via router if possible)
Result:
●If it works → the issue is your network
●If it still does not work → the device may be faulty
