Linking the OA-SP Fingerprint/Keypad Accessory to the Lock

How to Pair the OA-SP Keypad Using the Remote Controller Method

The OA-SP module functions as both a fingerprint reader and a keypad.
Because of this, it cannot be linked using the standard accessory pairing option in the app. Instead, it needs to be linked to the lock using the Add Remote Controller option. 

Both the lock and keypad must already be added to the app before starting.

Before You Start

Make sure:

  • The lock is visible in the app
  • The keypad is visible in the app
  • You have access to the keypad’s Admin Passcode

You will find the Admin Passcode here:

Settings → Basic for the keypad → Admin Passcode (last item in the list)

Write this code down. It cannot be copied from the app.

Link the Keypad to the Lock

Step 1 – Start Pairing from the Lock

  1. Open the app and select the lock
  2. Tap Remote
  3. Tap + Add Remote at the bottom of the screen
  4. Select the Permanent tab from the three tabs now at the top of the screen
  5. Name it Keypad
  6. Tap Next
  7. Ignore the instructions for adding a normal Remote; use this special sequence,
  8. Tap Next again to reach the Nearby Devices screen

Leave the phone on this screen and now go back to the physical Keypad

Step 2 – Put the Keypad into Pairing Mode

On the physical keypad:

  1. Wake it by touching the CARD
  2. Enter:
    * 813 #
    (you should hear two beeps)
  3. Type in the Administrator Passcode + #,that's the Administrator Passcode you wrote down already
  4. Enter 1 # to start pairing mode

Step 3 – Complete Pairing Quickly

  • The lock will beep
  • Pairing mode lasts only 3–4 seconds

As soon as the keypad appears on the phone:

  • Tap the + icon next to the serial number listed

Confirm the Link Worked

Test the keypad using any existing credential:

  • Fingerprint
  • Fob
  • Tag
  • Passcode

If linked correctly:

  1. The keypad flashes green
  2. After a short delay, the lock opens

If Pairing Does Not Work

If the keypad does not appear during pairing:

  • Repeat the process from Add Remote

  • Ensure the Admin Passcode was entered correctly

  • Stay ready to select the keypad quickly, as pairing mode lasts only a few seconds

If the issue continues, restart the app and try again.
