Can One Wi-Fi Gateway Control Two Locks from One App?

One Wi-Fi gateway can control two or more locks from one app, as long as every lock meets the requirements below.

Requirements (Must All Be True)

1. Distance

• Each lock must be within 5 meters of the gateway

• Measured in a straight line

2. Line of Sight

• Direct line of sight between the gateway and each lock

•  The maximum communication range will vary depending on the presence of obstacles (such as people, metal, or walls) or the electromagnetic environment.

How Many Locks Can One Gateway Support?

• Multiple locks

• No fixed limit

• Distance and line of sight matter more than the number of locks

Important Note

If any lock is farther than 5 meters or blocked by an object, it will not connect reliably and will need its own gateway.
