You can skip ahead to the next section if the app is already installed

TTLock -App Store and Google Play (Icons)The TTLock application is available for download
from the App Store   or   GooglePlay

    1. Download the “TTlock App” from the App Store or Google Play by either
      - Using the links above
      - Searching the “TTLock” app
    2. Sign up for a TTlock account and register that account using either your email address or your phone number

The Get Code confirmation process, that proves you are not a robot can sometimes be a little confusing. Your are required to slide a portion of a picture to its correct location.
You don't grab the small image,  instead you use the slider button underneath to slide it to the matching hole in the bigger picture.

3. Next you need to add your smart lock to the device list in the app

First, wake up the lock’s Bluetooth by touching the credit card icon in the middle of the keypad.

    1. Tap on “+ Add Lock” and select  "All Locks" , don't worry about all the different types offered, just select All Locks

    2. In the “Nearby Locks” list, select the non-greyed out device that has appeared.
    3. Rename the serial number with a descriptive name
    4. The lock has now been added successfully.

Test the Bluetooth unlocking function

Try to open the lock by tapping on the “Padlock Icon” in the app. Please ensure that the phone is within 5-metres direct line of sight of the lock and that Bluetooth is turned on. It helps to touch the credit card icon in the middle of the keypad which livens up the Bluetooth.

Add Fingerprints:

To add a new fingerprint,
1. Select Fingerprint from the lock screen in the app
2. Tap on the three dots
3. Select Add Fingerprint
4. Choose a name for later reference.  A descriptive label helps you to recognise the
fingerprint in the unlocking reports.
5. Choose whether you want to create limited-time or permanent access.
6. Then start and press your fingerprint on the fingerprint sensor as many times as the app requests. You will then see a message say that the fingerprint has been successfully added.
8. Now test the fingerprint.
9. If a particular fingerprint is not easily recognised, we would advise you to create 3-4 instances of exactly the same fingerprint to multiply the probability of first time recognition for that user.

Add Passcodes:

Before setting new passcodes, the temporary default code is 123456#

You can create several different types of passcode to open your smart lock:
- Timed
- One-Time-Passcode (OTP)
- Permanent
- Recurring
- Custom
(Custom is the only option that allows you choose your own numbers, as few as 4 numerals)

You can then easily share the passcode with other users via SMS, Email,
WhatsApp etc.

You can create, limit, share and delete a passcode without a bridge using
the app, but only when you are near the lock and you have woken up the bluetooth first.

Using Passcodes:
1. Touch the Credit Card icon on the keypad lightly to wake up the lock
2. Enter the passcode
3. Press the Hash # as if it was the Enter key

share an electronic key with your friends, family, maid, dog walker or your
AirBnB guests. For using the eKey, they need to download and sign up
for a new account. This will also help you nd out about the time they
opened the lock. E-Keys are also available in different types: Permanent,
Time-Limited, One-time and recurring.
You can authorise a user as Admin in the Authorised Admin section.

e-Key Management:

up to the time their users are valid.

FAQ:

1. Why can’t I open the door after the passage mode is enabled?

You need to unlock the door with any method first before passage mode to takes effect.

2. What is the purpose of Auto Lock?

The auto-lock is a safety feature to relock the door a set number of second after you have unlocked it. The period is preset to five seconds but can be changed  to any length you want in: Lock -> Settings -> Auto Lock.

3. Why does the app consumes power?

It may be due to:
1. Standby power consumption keeping the bluetooth available over time
2. A short circuit (but this is much less likely)

4. Why does the touchpad have no response?

a) In this case, first check that the batteries have been installed correctly and have enough power
b) Remove the back panel and see if it is properly connected.

5. Why can't I register my fingerprint?

Check the fingers and fingerprint sensor for dirt or any wear. Also check to see if the fingerprint sensor works properly (press to see if there is any response).

If a particular fingerprint is not easily recognised, we would advise you to create 3-4 instances of exactly the same fingerprint to multiply the probability of first time recognition for that user.

6. How do the two types of Alarm work?

Too Many Attempts Alarm
- After 5 failed attempts by any method, a loud alarm will go off for 30 seconds. After the alarm has stopped sounding, you can then try again.

There is no way to disable this alarm from being in use, and once triggered it cannot be turned off, except by removing the batteries from the inside battery compartment, so if you are outside and the door is locked, there is no way to silence the alarm.

Tamper Alarm - This is triggered if somebody tries to lever open the front lock casing from the outside after it is fitted and powered up.

Once triggered the Tamper Alarm cannot be turned off, except by removing the batteries from the inside battery compartment, so if you are outside and the door is locked, there is no way to silence the alarm.
