How to Set Up Your Wi-Fi Bridge and Connect with Amazon Alexa

Step 1: Access the TT Lock App

  1. Open the TT Lock app on your smartphone.

Step 2: Pair Your Wi-Fi Bridge

  1. Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the app.
  2. Select Gateway from the menu.
  3. Tap the plus button (+) in the top right corner to add a new Gateway.
  4. Ensure your Wi-Fi Bridge is plugged in and powered on. This will enable Bluetooth pairing.
  5. Tap on G2 (or the name of your Gateway) and select Next.
  6. Choose your home Wi-Fi network and name the Gateway (e.g., "Kitchen Gateway").
  7. Confirm the pairing. Your Gateway should now appear in the app.

Step 3: Set Up Amazon Alexa

  1. Download the Amazon Alexa app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Sign in to your Amazon account.
  3. In the app, navigate to the More section in the bottom right corner.
  4. Select Skills & Games.
  5. Use the search bar to enter TT Lock.
  6. Tap on the TT Lock skill and select Enable.
  7. Sign in to your TT Lock account when prompted to link the accounts.

Step 4: Confirm Device Linking

  1. Once linked, go back to the Skills & Games section in the Alexa app.
  2. Search for TT Lock again to confirm it's enabled.
  3. Navigate to Smart Home and check that your locks are listed.

Step 5: Set Up Voice Unlocking

  1. Select the lock you want to manage (e.g., your front door).
  2. Tap the settings icon (gear wheel) in the top right corner.
  3. Choose Unlock by Voice and set a voice code (e.g., "4426").

Step 6: Test Your Setup

  1. To test, use your Alexa device (e.g., in your kitchen) and say:
    • "Alexa, unlock the front door."
  2. When prompted, say your voice code.
  3. Confirm that the door unlocks as expected.
