How to Set Up Your Wi-Fi Bridge and Connect with Amazon Alexa
Step 1: Access the TT Lock App
- Open the TT Lock app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Pair Your Wi-Fi Bridge
- Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the app.
- Select Gateway from the menu.
- Tap the plus button (+) in the top right corner to add a new Gateway.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi Bridge is plugged in and powered on. This will enable Bluetooth pairing.
- Tap on G2 (or the name of your Gateway) and select Next.
- Choose your home Wi-Fi network and name the Gateway (e.g., "Kitchen Gateway").
- Confirm the pairing. Your Gateway should now appear in the app.
Step 3: Set Up Amazon Alexa
- Download the Amazon Alexa app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Sign in to your Amazon account.
- In the app, navigate to the More section in the bottom right corner.
- Select Skills & Games.
- Use the search bar to enter TT Lock.
- Tap on the TT Lock skill and select Enable.
- Sign in to your TT Lock account when prompted to link the accounts.
Step 4: Confirm Device Linking
- Once linked, go back to the Skills & Games section in the Alexa app.
- Search for TT Lock again to confirm it's enabled.
- Navigate to Smart Home and check that your locks are listed.
Step 5: Set Up Voice Unlocking
- Select the lock you want to manage (e.g., your front door).
- Tap the settings icon (gear wheel) in the top right corner.
- Choose Unlock by Voice and set a voice code (e.g., "4426").
Step 6: Test Your Setup
- To test, use your Alexa device (e.g., in your kitchen) and say:
- "Alexa, unlock the front door."
- When prompted, say your voice code.
- Confirm that the door unlocks as expected.
