There are two versions OR
Battery replacement (two versions):
a) The bottom of panel screw version
Counterintuitively TIGHTEN the screw at the bottom of the panel by screwing Clockwise so the screw goes inwards and releases the cover. The the cover can be gently wiggled and slipped off first the the top securing tab, then slid over the handle to fulling expose the battery compartment,
b) The High up, screw down battery cover version
Loosen the screws in the battery cover, lift it off to reveal battery compartment (be careful not to lose the tiny screw).
Changing the direction of the either handle:
1. Using the supplied Allen Key, push the long end into the hole on the reverse of the handle and gently rotate the allen key until you feel it connect with the Allen Key bolt at the very base. Then loosen the screws until the bolt comes out .
2. Pop the handle off
3. Once you have finessed the handle's direction to your liking, slide it back to the seat. Then re-tighten the screw very firmly.
Compatibility test:
One test to see if the new lock is compatible with your existing
multipoint locks is to check if it can fully retract the hooks and bolts on
your multipoint mechanism.
Step 1:
Mark the current position of all bolts/hooks on your existing multipoint lock.
Step 2:
From the inside:
1. Locate the internal lock body on the spindle.
2. Align the lock with the door and hold it firmly.
3. Lift the handle fully to throw
Step 3:
Take the front body(fingerprint handle) and turn the spindle receptor so that the
arrow POINTS AWAY from the handle. — "It's the opposite of what is suggested
on the lock! We do this only for the test
part!"
Step 4:
From the outside:
1. Locate the front body on the spindle.
2. Align the lock with the door and hold it firmly.
3. Push the handle fully downward to retract the bolts.
Tip: You can now return the spindle receptor
so that it POINTS TOWARDS the handle. It's necessary for the next steps.
Step 5:
Now check if all bolts and hooks have fully retracted to the marked position. If bolts don't prevent you from closing the door, we passed this test!
Installation:
1. Install the mortice
- Pop that screw into the hole
and secure it nice and tightly
2. Install the square shaft:
- If your handle points left, twist the triangle point to
the left; if it points right, spin the arrow right.
- Insert the bolt, bend the
front end to secure the square shaft, and choose a
screw stub suiting your door's thickness.
Fasten it with a U-Clip, making sure the arrow
on the spindle aligns with the handle.
3. Install the sliding screw casing
- Adjust the screw stub location, a customizable
feast ranging from 60mm to 100mm. Drill where
needed or utilize existing holes, you trendsetter!
4. Connecting the front and back panel:
- Install a waterproof pad on the rear panel.
- When drilling new holes, it's often best to
remove the multi-point mechanism after
unscrewing it like a true locksmith, this avoids
any mishaps that can damage the mechanism!
5. Install the back panel
- Secure the front and back panels with
screws matching your door's thickness.
- Connect the front power cord to the back
panel like connecting the dots.
6. Install the battery
- Energize your creation with 4 AA batteries.
- Seal the deal with the battery cover.
Tips:
Lift the handle to engage the deadbolts/hooks and then pull the handle down to disengage.
The internal handle should always open the door.
TEST: Try pulling the outer handle down. It should move but do nothing. Then insert the keys and turn. Try lifting the handle and then pull it down. This time the latch/hooks should retract.
Note: Simpled Smart Lock comes with an auto-lock feature. It means the spindle doesn't engage from the outside when pushing the handle downward unless you gain access with a fingerprint, passcode, etc.
In multi-point locks, the bolts/deadbolts/hooks will engage when you lift the handles. Otherwise, the door may only be held on one latch. So it's always recommended to lift the handles to engage the multi-points.
Don't use chemicals for cleaning as it may affect the guarantee. A soft,
damp cloth is best for gently cleaning without scratching the surface.

Add Passcodes:
Before setting new passcodes, the temporary default code is 123456#
You can create several different types of passcode to open your smart lock:
- Timed
- One-Time-Passcode (OTP)

- Custom
(Custom is the only option that allows you choose your own numbers, as few as 4 numerals)
You can then easily share the passcode with other users via SMS, Email,
WhatsApp etc.

2. Enter the passcode
3. Press the Hash # as if it was the Enter key

opened the lock. E-Keys are also available in different types: Permanent,
Time-Limited, One-time and recurring.
You can authorise a user as Admin in the Authorised Admin section.

up to the time their users are valid.

Pair the Gateway with APP:
Privacy Switch/Secure Mode (Only owner can unlock)
If you slide the button UP, you enable Secure Lock (Secure Mode), this means that only the Main Administrator of the lock can unlock the door, and only with the app or the Administrator Passcode (found under Settings → Basic).
So a normal code or fingerprint etc will not work while this Secure Mode is turned on.
FAQ:
1. Why can’t I open the door after the passage mode is enabled?
You need to unlock the door with any method first before passage mode to takes effect.
2. What is the purpose of Auto Lock?
The auto-lock is a safety feature to relock the door a set number of second after you have unlocked it. The period is preset to five seconds but can be changed to any length you want in: Lock -> Settings -> Auto Lock.
3. Why does the app consumes power?
It may be due to:
1. Standby power consumption keeping the bluetooth available over time
2. A short circuit (but this is much less likely)
4. Why does the touchpad have no response?
a) In this case, first check that the batteries have been installed correctly and have enough power
b) Remove the back panel and see if it is properly connected.
5. Why can't I register my fingerprint?
Check the fingers and fingerprint sensor for dirt or any wear. Also check to see if the fingerprint sensor works properly (press to see if there is any response).
If a particular fingerprint is not easily recognised, we would advise you to create 3-4 instances of exactly the same fingerprint to multiply the probability of first time recognition for that user.
6. How do the two types of Alarm work?
Too Many Attempts Alarm - After 5 failed attempts by any method, a loud alarm will go off for 30 seconds. After the alarm has stopped sounding, you can then try again.
There is no way to disable this alarm from being in use, and once triggered it cannot be turned off, except by removing the batteries from the inside battery compartment, so if you are outside and the door is locked, there is no way to silence the alarm.
Tamper Alarm - This is triggered if somebody tries to lever open the front lock casing from the outside after it is fitted and powered up.
Once triggered the Tamper Alarm cannot be turned off, except by removing the batteries from the inside battery compartment, so if you are outside and the door is locked, there is no way to silence the alarm.
